CCINW Directors add value to YOUR membership in the CCINW!
We’ve done this by partnering with organizations such as the Association
of Specialist in Cleaning and Restoration in the past (ASCR) and the World Floor
Covering Association currently (WFCA) to provide benefits we couldn’t get
otherwise.

Generating quality programs is costly, so we’ve been actively working with
industry groups to find programs that could add value to your CCINW membership,
even for those that have no access to organized local events. After much
research within the industry, we’ve found the best balance of quality, value and
reliability was to partner with an organization that we had a beneficial
relationship in the past, the
RIA (previously ASCR).
This affiliation with the
RIA ill allow our members access to their technical
database and other outstanding programs, and at a cost far less than the cost of
regular RIA membership. Partnership with the
RIA also allows us to use their
accounting systems and offer the flexibility of paying dues by the month rather
than a lump sum at the beginning of the year.
To give those that are unfamiliar with what
RIA offers, we’ve reached an
agreement with the RIA that will allow access to a number of
RIA benefits for
the remainder of 2009 at no cost to current CCINW members.
Our affiliation with the WFCA will continue with a significant change. A recent
survey showed that over half of CCINW members wanted to keep WFCA education
benefits, but almost 70% of our members never use them. Since the cost of the
program to the CCINW has risen 40%, we need to do what other organizations do
and make the WFCA program optional. For those that can use the benefits, it will
still be a great deal.
The final details are not complete, but we think we’ve been able to add
significant value to membership while keeping the dues rate as low as possible.
As of January 1, 2010, we will be changing the way we collect dues. CCINW dues
will continue to be $350 per year if paid in advance, but will now include
access to RIA information and programs. If monthly payments are chosen a small
monthly service fee of $2.50 will be added. WFCA benefits will be charged at our
cost of $175 and must be paid in full at renewal time.
CCINW staffers will continue to provide local support and make collecting
benefits simple.
